Peter works on improving different parts of the Dyalog interpreter.
Peter has always been fascinated by programming languages and their implementation, and studied Computer Science at university. When he came across APL by accident, he decided that it looked interesting/different enough that it was worth learning. After some experimentation with writing interpreters himself, he was pleased to discover that Dyalog Ltd was looking for an interpreter developer, and he sent an email to find out more. After a couple of calls and interviews, he was offered the job, and he joined Dyalog Ltd soon after finishing his bachelors degree. Peter is excited to be a part of keeping this language alive, and enjoys improving the quality and stability of the Dyalog interpreter. He still likes to do some experimentation on his own, especially testing ideas that are less likely to be included in a commercial product such as Dyalog.
We promote a culture where innovation, fun, pride, and acceptance is part of our everyday life. We come from a variety of backgrounds, and we learn from each other’s diversity.
…or perhaps even join the team!
